The Assemblies of God was founded in 1914 in Hot Springs, Arkansas with 300 people at the founding convention. Today there are nearly 13,000 churches in the U.S. with over 3 million members and adherents..

  • Canton Calvary provides Bible studies, retreats, and various events for ladies of all ages. This ministry is designed to give the ladies of our church the opportunity to experience growth in their lives through a relationship with Jesus Christ and opportunities for fellowship with one another. It is our goal to encourage one another to become women of faith who pursue God wholeheartedly.

  • We provide Bible study, breakfasts, retreats, and various events for men of all ages. This ministry is designed to help men learn to be Spirit led leaders of their homes. It is our goal to encourage on another to become strong men who boldly live for Christ in every area of their life.

  • Our children’s ministry is designed to teach children the word of God. It is our goal that the children of Canton Calvary learn scripture and Biblical truth so they grow into Godly people who boldly live for Jesus.

  • This ministry is designed to give the congregation opportunities to pray together as a group. It is our goal to encourage one another to become prayer warriors who pray for personal needs, others needs and for the Kingdom of God to grow.
