About Pastor Philip

Pastor Philip has served the congregation of Canton Calvary since 2005.  He is a minister of the Assemblies of God. 

His ministry is focused on preaching the Word of God in a down to earth, easily understood way, leading the congregation into Spirit focused worship, and helping individuals in their personal walk with the Lord.  Pastor Philip is passionate about our motto, “A PLACE FOR YOU”.  He welcomes all people lovingly into the family of God.

Pastor Philip immigrated from England to attend Portland Bible College. Before Canton Calvary, Pastor Philip was an Associate Pastor in Richland, Washington and planted a church in Klamath Falls, Oregon. 

Philip and Michelle were married in 1997. They have one son, Austin, who is married to Ashley. The entire family serves the Lord in many ways. Michelle works with the women’s ministry, leads worship, and helps with children’s ministry. Austin and Ashley help lead worship when they are in town.
